Clear dark ruby brown beer, no head. Aroma: pretty oxidized, malty, caramel, dried fruits, raisins, earthy. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: a bit sourish, sweet and sugary, very malty, grains, hay, very sweet, lots of caramel, dried fruits. Aftertaste: soft roast, some chocolate notes, alcohol, nice one!

Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2022, Friday Session. A almost clear black beer. Aroma and Taste of strong dark roasted malt, coffee, bourbon, some herbs.

Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2022, Friday Session. A hazy golden beer with a white lacing. Aroma and Taste of sour apricot, tropical fruits, apples, brett, grapes.

Draught Head gone in seconds; hazy ochre-yellow beer. Peach, white grape, floral, faint lactic acid, rhubarb. Floral - young fruit - rosehips - peach (of course the cloudberries). Hint at alcohol, which is strange for its ABV. Low carbonation, quite (fruit)slick; sharpish acidity. Quite nice, as it is just not-too sharp.

Cloudy light yellow to beige beer, creamy white head, little stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: nice, very dank and juicy, resinous hops, tropical fruits, good! MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet touch up front, some alcohol, bitter, sugary, some tropical fruits. Aftertaste: rather sweet and sugary, juicy, quite some alcohol, tropical fruits, decent beer!

Clear dark brown beer, practically no head, small beige bubbles encircling the side of the glass. Aroma: very intense, dark roast, caramel, vanilla, wood, spicy, tonka beans, pretty earthy, oxidized, more wood, a little smoky, earthy humus, sugary impression. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: wow, very intense! Some roast up front, very earthy, alcohol, sweet and sugary, some soy sauce, muscovado sugar, caramel, bitter. Aftertaste: caramel, bitter, roasted, alcohol, spicy, dry, sugary, some cloves, cocoa powder, coffee roast, vanilla notes. Nice one!

Noire obsidienne, huileux filament doré au verre, col fin moka.
Arôme sur un côté gros RIS très marqué - pas mal de notes de malts - chocolaté, Bourbon/vanillé, léger en fumé mais qui confère une belle balance.

Palais est épais fortement axé sur des malts tant biscuité, chocolaté avec un apport délicat de fumé (ici du bouleau) et un délicat côté Bourbon/vanille. Le tout sur une effervescence plate, sirop avec un fini liquoreux et collant aux lèvres.
Probablement un des très bons stouts du festival même si une version bcp plus légère aurait été la bienvenue.
