Bottle from a local bottle shop. Big blast of coffee beans with roasted malt, notes of chocolate and caramel. More dominating coffe bean throughout. Moderate to medium sweet flavour with a moderate bitterness. Medium body. Nice Coffee Porter.

330ml bottle. Darkest brown colour with weak ruby shimmer and average, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Minimally sugary, caramel and dark malty aroma with chocolately and nutty aspects, notes of dark caramel, toffee, nougat, a touch of burnt caramel. Taste is bitter, caramel malty, minimally diluted notes of burnt caramel, burnt sugar; lingering, dry, papery finish. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally greasy, simultaneously slightly dry palate, fine, dense, creamy, mildly prickly carbonation. Taste cannot hold a candle to a very promising nose - bummer!

As Flaneerbeer. Clear brown colour with thin head. Loads.of malt in aroma and taste. Fine carbonation. Sweet gingerbread. Slightly thin.
