(screw cap bottle) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Sweet, strawy malt aroma with a light grainy touch, notes of marzipan and a faint hoppy, slightly herbal background. Solid malty base, strawy and subtle fruity taste with soft herbal accents in the wings; medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation; moderately dry, malty sweet-bitter finish with soft hoppy notes. Not overwhelming but a pleasant to drink, easy going Festbier.

(screw cap bottle) Cloudy, orange colour with a massive foamy white head. Dusty, light-sweet, moderately yeasty nose with petty strong clovy phenols and a rather shy fruity (banana) touch. Light-sweet, minimal-acidic flavour; yeasty, wheaty taste with moderate to light fruity notes and early arriving cloves. Light-fruity, slightly tart finish. Not perfectly balanced

(screw cap bottle) Clear, copper colour with a dense, medium-sized beige foamy head. Sweet and roasty malt aroma with doughy impressions, caramel/toffee and a light herbal hoppy background. Moderately roasty, earthy and nutty malty taste with light notes of caramel and cacao; delicately roasty and moderately bitter finish with light herbal hops accents. Decent.

(screw cap bottle) Hazy, amber colour with a fluffy, tanned foamy head. Sweet and yeasty-fruity aroma of citrus and pears and a light spicy, hoppy touch. Sweet and slightly fruity-sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy carbonation. Malty and yeasty taste with fruity components; fruity and malty, slightly bitter finish. Not perfectly balanced but still a nice thirst quencher.

Screw-cap bottle: Honeyish coloured, slightly hazy, bigger, slowly collapsing off-white head; grainy(rye)-fruity nose with a tinge of yeast, light to moderate sweetish flavour with a light illusion of acidity, soft MF; short, sweetish-fruity finish. A bit weak in the end........

Malzig-süßer Antrunk, dessen Aroma im weiteren Verlauf meist alleine steht. Der minimale Hopfenton im Mittelteil ist kümmerlich, dabei wird der Malzton schwächer und hinterlässt ein wässriges Aroma. Das nun erkennbar werdene Karamellaroma wirkt muffig und ist wohl noch schlechter als einfach nur Wasser. Lascher Nachgeschmack. Test vom 11.10.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,8,6,6,9,6 - 6,65

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy/murky orange/brown color with a longlasting off-white head. Has a sweet malty wheaty and bready aroma with some fruity hints. Sweet malty bready and wheaty flavor. Smooth malty finish with a bitter aftertaste.

Das Bier startet mit einem milden Kaffearoma, das in seiner Milde vorerst verharrt. Erst im hinteren mittelteil tut sich dann wieder etwas, von einem herben Ton begleitet wird das Kaffee-malzige Aroma stärker und entspricht nun einer Stärke, die ich mir bei einem Schwarzbier wünsche. Herb-malziger Nachgeschmack mit einem dezent süßen Ton. Test vom 27.9.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 4,10,9,11,12,10 - 9,50

Würzig-getreidger Antrunk mit nicht unwichtigem Malzunterton. Das Aroma bleibt im Kern bestehen, der Malzton wird etwas stärker. Nach und nach wird das Bier etwas wässriger, der Abgang täuscht eine herbe Note vor, die dann aber nicht eintritt, stattdessen wird das schon bekannte Aroma langsam schwächer, wobei die Malznote weiter die Stärkste ist. Im Grunde nicht schlecht, gut trinkbar allemal. Aber das gewisse Etwas, dass das Bier aus seiner Mittelmäßigkeit holt, fehlt. Test vom 26.9.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 6,7,8,7,6,7 - 7,00

Würziger Antrunk, in dem primär Malznoten vorkommen, durchaus aber auch deutliche Getreidearomen. So frisch, das Malz bleibt heller als gewollt und kann sich nicht verdichten. Süffig, die Intensität bleibt immer auf einer Stufe. Zum Ende dann doch malziger, was auch durch eine helle Süße ermöglicht wird. Trocken getreidiger Abgang. Nettes Bierchen. 9/9/8/8/9/9
