440ml can. Hazy, amber colour with average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. (Tropical) fruity, slightly piney, hoppy aroma, notes of red and yellow apple, a touch of mango and passion fruit with piney amalgamation. Taste is minimally sweet, pale, caramel and wheaty malty, fruity and slightly piney hoppy, hints of red and yellow apple, a touch of mango, passion fruit, again mixed with piney, resinous and woody aspects. Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Very homogeneous, hardly distinguishable resinous-piney and fruity hoppy aspects - nice.

Golden colour with fluffy head. Aroma and flavour have lots of caramalt sweetness which aids the full body. Muted hop notes with light tangerine sweet citrus.

330ml can delivered from the Salmon, Leicester and drunk at home. Mid- to dark gold, clear with a ring of white head. It's got a lively scent of pine resin and ripe tangerine. Taste is quite sweet for the style, with a tinge of bitterness closer to the short finish. Soft carbonation, oily body. I love the style but I'd like a little more from this.

330ml can delivered from the Salmon, Leicester and drunk at home. Reddish brown and almost clear with a ring of beige head. Resinous malty aroma, light berry character, toast, grassy notes and pine. Sweet taste, despite the prevalence of piney hop this is very malt driven. Some gentle fruity bitterness on the long finish. Medium carbonation. A lovely rendition of a favourite style of mine.
