Can at the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy golden colour with a short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, mineral, stone fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a crisp, fresh, tropical citrus fruit, dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A solid beer but a little unbalanced. Lots of fruity notes up front but some not so pleasant yeasty flavours in the finish. Could be better and not worth the exorbitant price I paid for it. Nice can though.

The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, malt, fruity, light pepper spice, strong woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Judging by the price this is a premium product, which really doesn’t live up to expectations.

The flavour is moderate to strong bitter, with a malty, light floral, big woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. A little unbalanced I feel. It’s all about the bitterness, which is “nice” I must say. Can’t miss the opportunity to pay homage to one of the greatest beer raters to ever walk this earth :-)

Hand-pull at Vulture's Lane, Auckland. Still clear amber beer with a thin white head. Sweet malt nose. Nice lacing. Good bitter, sweet at first with bittering hops in the finish. Really authentic.
