Draft pour to a tulip at Bugu. Clean, shiny golden appearance with almost no head. It seems unusual these days to run into a farmhouse ale with no junk added, so I'm definitely interested in this one right away. Clean taste, straw, lemon like grain. Very modest funk. Refreshing taste throughout. Simple for the style, but not boring. Nice brew.

Enjoyed on tap at Bugu Brewing. Pours a slight copper orange with a patchy fizz head. Really smooth taste on this one. Soft bready malts, with a touch of bran. Very modest aroma. Slightest hint of berry notes in the late palate. Love a tasty, flavorful beer like this. Under 5%. Grab a few and hang out for a while.

Enjoyed on tap at Bugu Brewing. As close to a Mariners themed brewery as it gets in my local, I'm not surprised to find a brew with a name like this here. Clean and shiny golden appearance. Subtle straw grains, mineral like nose. Crisp edge, sharp linger, high carb taste. Especially clean flavor. Easy drinking, though low on flavor all together. Refreshing, and pairs well with baseball, green grass, amd the roof open.

32 oz Growler filled at Bugu. A mostly clear copper appearance, with a thin film head. Easy drinking amber here. It's sessionable, and this fact is noticeable. Light flavor, bready malts, some caramel character. Seems quite light up front, but the alternative flavor really holds on in the palate. Smooth, flavorful, and pairable with anything.

Draft 12 oz pour at Bugu. Somewhat thin brown pout with a thin foam head. Named after a lake I have visited on numerous occasions. Lots of bold chocolate flavor here. A bit dry. Smooth cocoa and caramel malts. Matching aroma. Dusty, chocolate late palate. Flavorful and unique porter. True cocoa nib flavor. Really interesting brew here.

Draft 16 oz pour enjoyed at Bugu. First beer as AFC North Champs! Fun to find this style here in my hometown. Red tinted, dark brown pour. Rich malts, bran and bready grains throughout. Smooth taste. Slight caramel. Lingering sweetness here. Tons of cereal grains. A style I don't see often, and it's quite the hybrid between styles. Unique, flavorful, and very enjoyable.

Draft 12 oz pour enjoyed at BuGu, Monroe. Love the less than typical styles from these guys right out of the gate. Dark and dense reddish brown pour, with an off white foam head. Smooth brown ale here, with some candied fruit, bran, and toasty grain. Distinct fruit character. Warming, but not overpowering. Has a bit of a festive taste for the season, though I feel this may be coincidence. Unique brew here. Quite enjoyable.

Draft pour pint, enjoyed at BuGu. First rate! A darker, copper amber appearance. Patchy foam head. Really nice bold and toasty malts here, with touches of spice. Layered malt aroma and flavor of biscuit and caramel grains. Touch of metallic character on the nose. Spice and rich caramel creates a nice balance. Hints on almost a smokey note. Far from a typical amber, and I love it for that. Very flavorful. Nice!
