Draft pour pint at Crooked Label, Monroe. Dense, hazy orange appearance. Thin foam head. Expected a lot more of a mango explosion here. Hardly noticeable fruit influence in anything but perhaps the appearance. Aroma is a wet grain. American hefe like flavor with slick, malty, wheat flavor, and an impressionable yeast character. A but of a watery, empty finish, after an initial hefe like first sip. A beer with a bit of an identity crisis here. Unsure which direction this one is going on the style side. Really thought the mango would persuade it in a certain direction, but it somehow didn't.

Draft pour pint, enjoyed at Crooked Label, Monroe. Cloudy copper orange appearance, with a thin foam head. Interesting style here from these guys so early. Draft pour pint, enjoyed at Crooked Label, Monroe. Second visit and second pint of the brew. Clean copper red appearance. Interesting and flavorful amber here. Very heavily leans towards the malt side, with sweet bready grains and caramel. Touch of metallic in the linger, but hardly noticeable through the dense malt bill here. Autumn like aroma, with spicy grains and a hint of forest like hop. Long lasting malt filled palate with bran and rich caramel. Definitely a malt lovers brew here. Enjoyed this one.
