Description
Back in 2013 we opened our doors as a quaint pizzeria called, Idlewild Pizza. The concept was born in the mountains of Colorado, at what was once the Idlewild ski area. The goal was to bring delicious, hand crafted pizza to the community of Leavenworth.

After three years and quite a bit of thought we decided we needed more. Our dream grew to share our love of craft beer, and Blewett Brewing Company was formed with the addition of an onsite production brewery. Today, our brew team enjoys creating an ever-changing variety of small batch brews that can be enjoyed in house or taken to go on any adventure.

32 oz crowler poured. Thanks to Tcon for picking this one up at the brewery. First fresh hop golden of the year. Maybe ever, for me. A mostly clean, lighter golden pour. Light beer feel, modest in flavor. Straw grains, grassy hops. A pretty good sessionable beer that fits well with an early morning homebrew session. Unique idea, and pretty good.

32 oz growler poured, brought back from the brewery by Tcon. Thanks! A darker red pour. Quite a malty double. Malty and boozy. A little rough to drink. A slight sweet side. Big hop bitter, but doesn't match the booze. Very unique imperial. Interesting, but less for me.

Draft pour at Brewett in Leavenworth. Caramel amber pour with an active fizz head. A steady, bold malt constant, with some bread in the linger. Smooth flavor, subtle hop introduction. Very flavorful. Some spice, and more caramel late. Pretty good amber overall.

Draft pour at Blewett, Leavenworth. Thicker, slightly hazy golden pour with plenty of foam head and lacing. Thick, cream body. A ton of melon fruit. Orange and citrus fruit underneath. Extremely refreshing. Solid, memorable pale

Draft pour at Blewett, Leavenworth. Clean, clear, shiny golden pour with a sticky head and lacing. Very quiet aroma, considering the style, and brewer description. A good grapefruit constant flavor, moderate hop bitter. Easy drinking, good Citra showcase. Nice IPA here.

Draft pour at my first visit to Blewett, Leavenworth. A bright, hazy orange pour with a glow to it. Thick, creamy lasting foam head. A fantastic, though subtle orange fruit aroma. Flavor is a steady tangerine, with a pleasant grapefruit as well. Extremely refreshing pale. Medium creamy, very nice to be drinking this outside in the sun. A couple pints of this would go good any day.
