Draft pour pint at Four Horsemen. A beautiful pour. Swirling dark mixed brown colors, a tan cream head that unfortunately fades away. An off milk chocolate aroma. A ton of black licorice. Oddly thin here. This is minty, and closer to a root beer than a stout. So weird. Not sure what to think of this one.

Draft pour at Four Horseman. An amber, pinkish pour. Pleasant aroma of a blackberry, blueberry like jam. Love that they picked their own berries to brew this lager. Flavorful. Clean mixed berry finish. Acidic berry finish. Cool constant. Pretty good.

Draft pour pint at my first visit to Four Horseman. Cool to learn about the brewery, and the farm attached. Clean golden orange pour. A toasty aroma, with grassy hop impressions. Very roasted flavor as well. Spicy. Blown away to learn there is no rye in this. Roasting their own grain may be the pointer there. A flavorful beer, but less my flavor go to. Bitter hop powder. I got the very bottom of this keg. I think this may have hurt it’s case. Unique. Interesting. Could be worse.
