My 2,000th New Jersey beer rating. Only fitting it should be from my brand new hometown brewery. On tap at brewery. Jet black pour. Small tan ring. Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Flavor mirrors nose. Dark malt, chocolate, treacle and milk sugar. Sticky mouthfeel. Finishes bittersweet with notes of Turkish coffee.
