On tap at the Carter Payne. Pours an opaque, yellow color, with a fair, foamy, white head. The nose is papaya, peach, lemongrass, juniper, and butterscotch. Sweet and pithy, with a bracing, grassy bitterness. Medium to heavy body, juicy, and a bit hot. Bold, aggressive, and tasty.

Tap at the brewery. Pours black, with a small, beige head. The aroma is heavy oak, syrup, walnut, cardamom, and light spruce. Sweet and syrupy, with a mild, sticky bitterness. Medium to heavy body, slick, and chewy. Pretty nice, flavorful, and clean.

Taster at the brewery. Pours an unclear, orange color, with small, off-white head. The nose is clover honey, blood orange, cinnamon, lemon zest, and hay. Sweet and malty, with a mellow, earthy bitterness. Medium body, grainy, and clean. Pretty tasty and well made.

Taster at the brewery. Pours dark brown, with a medium, foamy, tan head. The nose is caramel, black bread, light cherry juice, almond, and sawdust. Sweet and musty, and a touch tart. Light, sticky, and thin. Fun enough.

Taster at the brewery. Pours a hazyish, orange color, with a big, bubbly, white head. The nose is grapefruit juice, vanilla, peach, light hay, and cloves. Sweet and creamy, with a light, citrusy bitterness. Light, juicy, and quite creamy. Solid.
