Bottle. A dense, finger-thick white head forms over a clear, pale golden body. The aroma is very weak,with some grainy notes and a little fruityness. It’s medium bodied and dry, with a nice co2 level. Weak flavor too, some pale malts in the back, and a touch of fruityness, grass and some pine cones up front. Low on bitterness. Short finish. Easy drinkable, but dead boring. 140831

Bottle from a REWE in Bamberg. Golden with a slight, white, head and moderate fizziness. Sweet, slightly fruity beer, with a hint of toastiness and decent, bitter finish. Ok.

Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, grass. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate to light light heavy bitter with a long duration, sharp, grass, dry, silage notes. (swing top bottle) Hazy, orange-amber colour with a big and slightly tanned foamy head. Yeasty, grainy and slightly sugary (beet sugar) malty aroma with notes of biscuits, toffee and butter. Moderately sweet flavour with a restrained level of bitterness, light to medium bodied with a tame carbonation. Biscuity cara-malty taste with hints of sugar beet; medium-dry sweet and shy bitter finish with a very restrained hop character. Too sweet by Franconian standards. 28.VI.14
