Helder geel bier met schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en kruidig, iets van citrus en vanille. Minder krachtig bitter van smaak dan de meeste pilseners maar toch erg goed.

Bottled, from Biershop Bayern. Poured into steinkrug. Probably pale bronze colour with a haze, rich head. Grassy lightly floral nose. Mid sweet with medium body and soft. Bready, lightly fruity malt, mild grassy hops. Gently bitter finish. An harmonious malty kellerbier, although I would have preferred it less sweet and fruity.

Bottled, from Biershop Bayern. Clear golden, rich head. Discrete but elegant floral spicy hop aroma. Mid dry with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel, Lightly fruity with mild spicy hops bready malt. Mid bitter finish. Indistinct and restrained, but pleasant.

Bottled, from Biershop Bayern. Clear deep amber, small head. Fruity nose with a hint of raisin. Mid dry with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Streamlined raisiny malt notes of hazelnuts, the slightest hint of grassy hops. Near no bitterness. Very timid.

Bottled (as Altfränkisch Dunkel), from Biershop Bayern. Clear mahogany colour, rich, firm head. Nutty and toasty. Mid sweet with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Toasty bread, some sugar and hazelnuts. Some spicy bitterness.
