bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear pale yellow colour, large white head. Lovely hoppy nose: green hops, resiny with hints of grass and hay. Light-bodied yet with a solid malty base and a resiny hop profile. Delicious.

Bottle. A clear, dark golden beer topped by a finger-thick off-white head leaving lacings. Matly nose with caramel and bread. Some dms, and a fine hoppy scent. Dry, full-bodied and pleasantly carbonated, with caramel, bread and a nice bitterness. Bitter and sweet finish. A quite nice bock, well hopped for the style, which I liked. Unusual but good. 100331

Bottle @ Fonefan. Thanks. Pours dark unclear amber with floaties and a small white head and lacings. Nose is sweet and rich malty. Caramel, toffee and fruit. Flavor is sweet caramel and bread and has a little note of metal. Smooth and medium bodied. Ends dry.

Short-lived off-white head over dark amber beer with "Grünstich", olivey. Slightly bitterish wood, nutty, and the burnt aroma of molasses , but not sweet-smelling. Strong hint of garden herbs. Near wry, dry-malty flavour with again a light herbal touch; finish having indeed some hazelnut flavour. Noble hops present, but discreet. Quite carbonated MF, way less slick than most German Bocks, medium bodied at best. Bit lean palate. Very balanced Bock, way less sweet than almost any. Just a bit thinnish. Big thanks to fonefan!
