(33cl bottle, as Landwehr-Bräu Toppler Pils) Clear, pale golden colour with a moderate blond foamy head. Slightly sweet malty and a bit grainy and mild buttery aroma with citrousy hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Malt-accented initial taste, slightly grainy with herbal notes; dry, moderately bitter finish with a light hoppy touch. Drinkable Pils..

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a foamy white, medium-sized head. Sweet malty, grainy aroma in combination with rather strong herbal, initially slightly metallic hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy mf. Grainy and slightly herbal taste; dry and quite bitter finish for a Helles. Not bad, but the almost harsh bitterness does not fit in this case.

Bottle, 5.2% as Landwehr-Bräu Dunkel. Weak aroma, a little sewery. Clear dark brown colour. Small head. The flavour is quite mild, not that malty. Like a pale lager with a little dark malts at the end. Solid, but not exciting.

Bottle. Pale golden colour. Medium bitterness, a bit rough. The flavour is a bit sweet, otherwise a standard pils.

Bottle, 4.9%. Hoppy aroma. Clear golden colour, small white head. Rather high bitterness, but nicely balanced. The aftertaste fades away a bit, except for the bitterness.

Bottle. More of a fresh lemon aroma instead of Sprite(tm) - typical yellow aroma. Weak flavor primarily of lemon-lime soda but with a hint of lemonade - can’t taste beer at all. Radlers are all about the same - basically soft drinks you drink when you’re thirsty, not when you want to have a good beer. I even had my wife try this one and she could just detect the beer and she’s very, very sensitive to beer taste. This one gets higher points for the fresh lemon flavor.

Bottle. Mild malt aroma - pleasant but subtle. Medium yellow color with small collapsing head. Watery malt flavor with only a hint of hops. Not much body. Good but weak.
