No aroma. Hazy amber, thin head. Lemongrass with subtle marigold overtones. Light to medium body, oily. More floral than I would expect from a Saaz hopped beer.

On tap at the brewery. Pours medium golden, small h as has lasted through multiple other samples. Aroma is floral hops, light citrus, dust. Flavor is lemon zest, burnt malt, bitter grasses. Long lingering bitterness. My least favorite of the flight by far.

On tap at the brewery. Pours light brown. Aroma is roasted nuts, light chocolate biscotti. Flavor is crisp bitter grasses, roasted nuts, chocolate biscotti, slightly burnt coffee. Lots of flavor for a sessionable beer: 4%. Hell, lots of flavor for any beer. Though not my favorite it’s well done.

On tap at the brewery. Pours golden. Aroma is light floral hops, roasted malt. Flavor is slightly citrus hops, thick roasted malt. Bitterness lingers quite a bit. Reminds me of Great Lakes Moon Dog ESB more than Sierra Nevada (they mention SN on the menu). Good lingering floral bitterness. After not caring for it the first sip I’ve grown to enjoy this quite a bit in 5 ounces.
