Appearance: opaque deep brown to black, one finger tall beige head of medium retention. Aroma: good coffee, roast, chocolate, cream. Taste: light plus sweet, roast and coffee, chocolate, some hop. Light ending bitterness. Hoppy aftertaste. Mouth feel: mellow, medium-bodied, somewhat hollow in the middle. Appropriate carbonation. Overall: rather good.

Taste: Light sweet, roasted, coffee and chocolate, spicy hop, earth. Light ending bitterness. Mouth feel: Medium minus body, mellow, appropriate carbonation. Summary: A good oatmeal stout. Particularly for that money.
