Black with a large fluffy tan head that lingered and left great lacing. Roasty and bitter with anise and floral hops. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

Sample at Heinen's University Heights as part of Cleveland Beer Week. Hazy golden-orange color with a medium bone white head that recedes steadily to a film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of yeast, fruit and hops. Light to medium body with flavors of herbal hops, fruity yeast and malt. The finish is fruity and mildly bitter with a hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.
