(bottle, 33cl) Clear, copper to amber colour with a medium-sized and slightly beige foamy head. Sweet and slightly ashy malty nose with notes caramel, cacao and also of molasses/sugar beet syrup. Sweet-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Toasty malt-character with notes of caramel, cacao, nuts and a tinge of molasses; quite dry toast-malty, hop- and burnt bitter finish. A solid Dunkel. 23.II.10

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear pale golden colour, large white head. Fresh hoppy nose. Medium-bodied, malty base wtih nice hop flavours, balancing the sweetish pale malt flavours very well.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Slightly sweet and grainy pale malty aroma with shy grassy and herbal hops. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a mildly carbonated mouthfeel. Slightly grainy malty taste with shy hoppy notes; dry mouthfeel as it is completely fermented with a rather slim and slightly hop bitter finish with chalky notes. 03.I.10

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Sweet and bready cara-malty aroma with very discreet hoppy notes. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly bready malty taste with notes of cara-malt and shy herbal accents; medium-dry, slightly malt-accented and a bit salty finish with traces of herbal hops. Clean and easy-going,but also not world-shaking Helles/Export. 03.I.10

Aroma is light moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, chlorine notes, light to moderate hoppy, grass silage. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It pours a hazy, yellow-golden body under a finger-thick off-white head. Very bananaish nose with wheat and cloves, slightly phenolic. There’s some acidic notes in the flavor, but it’s mostly banana-fruity. Some cloves and wheat. Medium, dry body, effervescent. Banana and cloves in the finish, and a little bitterness. Quite tasteful and quaffable. 090821
