Description
Brewmaster Jesper
Jesper has been brewing beer since 2016, and his passion began at a campsite – a place where good ideas often come to life. But his interest in beer started long before that. As a child, Jesper spent time among the great minds at Ceres in the 90s, and his fascination with the art of brewing has remained ever since.

Jesper was a co-founder of the well-known Sydbyens Bryglaug, where as chairman and teacher he inspired over 100 students to master the art of hand brewing. In 2020, his passion took a new step with the establishment of Think Beer, and since then Jesper has further strengthened his expertise with courses with Danish beer judges.

With a background as a manager in transport and logistics and many years of experience in e-commerce, Jesper brings a structured and innovative approach to the brewery.

At Bryg365 we work with great respect and understanding for beer, and with our combined 20 years of experience in craft brewing, we are dedicated to delivering quality and knowledge to beer enthusiasts at all levels.

Can from Havnens Vin Og Tobak. Pours muddy dark green with small white head. Aroma is mint, lime zest, lime juice, redcurrant, strawberry, and hints of mild vinegar. Taste is very sweet, light to medium bitter, and light to medium acidic. Body is oily with light carbonation. Finish is long and balanced sweet and acidic with notes of mint, lime, lemon, marshmallows, vinegar, redcurrant, strawberry, and (sour) candy drops. It does a pretty good job of being something you don't want to taste again. It is not a bad beer - it is just too strange for my taste. But respect to the brewers for making something different.

Can 33 cl. Pours a thick, borderline opaque black with a dense and creamy, light brown head. Distinct honey aroma which is weird since apparently none was added! So honeyish it even overpowers the vanilla, the roast and the lactose. Rich body, but not overly so. Roasty, chocolatey with the lactose showing now. Not bad, but I could've wished for an even fatter, richer body which woul've suited the beer. 071025

Can 44 cl. Pours a cloudy golden with a rich, rough and lacing, white head. Fresh, dry Mosaic aroma. Medium body, dry citrusy fruitiness and yeast, but again this underlying and rather horrible chemical off-flavor. Very bitter finish. 071025

Can 33 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a neat and creamy, white head. Nose has faint citrus, but also a hint of sulphur and phenols. Medium body, sweet maltiness but also a strange and really unpleasant chemical tang. Subdued bitterness. 071025

Can 33 cl. Pours a clear, reddish amber with a tiny, rough, off-white head. Oxidized aroma, nutty, faint molasses and alcohol. Rich and boozy, some caramel notes and again really oxidized with a roaring alcohol finish. Plain booze, very few flavors. 090925
