(bottle) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a huge and slowly lacing foamy white head. Yeasty, delicately fruity and grainy malty aroma with a light to moderate wheat-character and notes of cloves. Moderately sweet and slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Grainy malty and wheaty taste with lighter fruity notes of banana, citrus; sweet and wheaty, mildly sour-fruity finish with a touch of cloves. Middle of the road Weizen. 13.X.10

Bügelverschlußflasche: Light amber coloured, a bit unclear, big lacy off-white head; sourish grainy-wheaty nose with some cloves underneath; sweet-tart flavour with a slight acidity, light bodied; shorter finish, more bitter, more yeasty, more fruity. Obiously well crafted, but not so attractive....

Quite O.K. with the exception of the modest aroma......

(bottle) Cloudy, chestnut-brown colour with a big but loose frothy off-white head. Slightly yeasty and mildly toasted malty aroma with notes of dark berries, banana and a shy clovy touch. Slightly sweet flavour with a shy tinge of acidity, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonated mouthfeel. Yeasty and slightly toasty malty taste with a present wheat character and fruity accents; moderately sweet and slightly sour finish with a whiff of phenolic spices. 28.VII.10

Bottle: Golden, lazy carbonation, big beaten-egg-white-like white head; distinctive sweetish wheaty-fruity nose; moderate sweet-sourish flavour, soft and medium bodied; a light acidity shows up in the sweet-fruity (apricots) finish. An excellent example of this odd style.....
