Bottle: Golden colored, mid-sized, slowly vanishing white head; sweetish-grainy nose, supported by some reserved bittere-hoppy aromas; delicate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; sweet-malty, slightly bitter finish. Nothing wrong with this decent Helles......

(bottle, from pivnizub) Clear, pale golden coloured and effervescent hue with a medium-sized white foam. Lightly sweet malty nose with herbal hops and a touch of bread dough. Initially soft malty, slightly papery taste on a herbal background, quite slim bodied with a crisp carbonation; moderately dry, light bitter finish with a herbal hoppy touch. Quite bland and average.

(bottle, from pivnizub) Dark mahogany colour with a short but stable beige foamy head. Slightly sweet, roast-malty aroma with caramel and a spicy, herbal hoppy background. Bitter flavour, light to medium body. Malty taste with caramel and balanced roasted and herbal notes; rather dry, malty, roasty- and herbal bitter finish, unfortunately with traces of metal.

Test vom 29.12.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 13,9,10,5,14,10 - 9,60

(Bottle 50 cl) Golden lager style with a decent head. Distinct bitterness in spite of the labels promise of it being "mild und hopfenhell". Wonder why they didn’t call it Pilsener - plain and simple - ’cause that’s what it is. 280501

(Bottle 50 cl) Pitchblack with a beige head. Typical coffe notes, but less dry and ashy than your typical Schwarzbier. Comes with a small and discreet, sweetish edge. Rather nice. 050501

(bottle) Cloudy orange colour with a nice big foamy white head. Fruity (banana, peach), clovy and wheat malty aroma with yeast. Sweet and fruity flavour, light body. There´s not much iaste in here. Quite thin malty and fruity taste with an unharmonic slightly clove-spicy and watery finish.
