Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt and a little yeast. Medium-bodied, sweet malts, a little yeast. No bitterness. 210809

Clear golden with a tiny white head. Grainy aroma with caramel notes. Flavour had butter, hops, caramel and malty notes. Finished bitter.

Dark amber with a medium off white head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt and hints of lacto. Sweet flavour with fairly hard roasted malt, chocolate, coffee. It finished dry. Not bad.

50 cL bottle. Pours slight cloudy dark brown with a small and off-white head. Aroma is roasted malty and vague milky aroma. Roasted and vague milky flavoured with a distinct metallic note following. Ends dry and slight bitter with a lasting metallic touch.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is malty and slight butterish. Butterish and light malty flavoured. Subdued bitterness ending slight crisp and medium dry.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt, and abit of sulphur. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and a bit of butter, leading to bitter finish.

Bottle 50cl. @ home.Clear dark red brown color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to lgiht beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, brown sugar, light smoked. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090330]

The bottle looks simple, the beer in the glass very dark, also dark foam. Malty and modest alcoholic aroma. Starts malty and dry, the finish is malty prickly. Not bad, but a bit too less sweet for a doppelbock!

Bottled. A deep red beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and straw. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel as well as medium notes of spices, pumpernickle bread, and alcohol, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Dark brown. Molasses, buckwheat honey, rich dark malts in the nose. Smooth body with rich chocolate, and a kiss of honey and toffee. Muscovado finish. Very clean, a pure dark sugar treat.
