Bottle: Golden, stable lacy white head, some floaties visible; grainy-dusty and slightly citrousy nose; soft MF, light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour; sweet malt and a distinctive touch of hops in the smooth finish. Surprise, a quite good beer from the DDR............

Dark mahogany color; small creamy head. It’s a monotonic beer, all centred on the dark caramel, but with a quite solid body (yet not sweet), and solid overall. Good.
