(330ml bottle from Systembolaget web order) Pours rather hazy medium orange with a small white head. Aroma intensely fruity, juicy and rather sweet, canned peach, pineapple, guava, passion fruit, mango, grapefruit. Flavour is not anything like as intense as the nose, again canned peach, grapefruit, grass, pine needles, light caramel, dry and moderately bitter finish with a tinny astringency, tastes a bit watery. Medium bodied, above average carb. The nose promises a lot with its bright and juicy character, which unfortunately is not matched by the palate. Perhaps too much focus on dry hopping?

Flaska från SB. Mörkt mörkbrun, grumlig vätska med ganska lågt snabbt fördvinnande skum. Doft av vetedeg, banan, nejlika, kardemumma. Välbalanserad, rejäl kropp med en del sötma, lätt syrlighet, tydlig jästkaraktär, bra kryddighet och en perfekt avvägd lite jästig beska. Riktigt snygg och god. Det enda jag saknar är en rejäl skumkrona. Bra namn som perfekt beskriver vad man får. Gott.

Bottle. Deep brown liquid with small tan head. Aroma of raw sugar, raisins, red berries, wheat, light banana, clove and earth. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of banana, raw sugar, red berries, raisins and clove. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Really nice stuff. True to style and complex. Maybe a bit over the top bananery in the flavor.

Bottle. Hazy deep orange liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma of citrus, tangerine, mango, fresh hops, weed, crackers, tiny bit of caramel, pineapple and lychee. Name is spot on, very tropical. Taste is dry and high bitter with notes of pineapple, hops, crackers and citrus. Medium bodied with medium to high carbonation. Maybe a bit overly fizzy. Great hop profile, but the bitterness is a bit too high and one-dimensional for the beer to really drinkable. Banging aroma though.

Bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours hazy wooden brown with a thin offwhite head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and fruity with sweet dark bread, banana bread, chocolate cake, caramel, pears, raisins, cloves, moist soil and hints of alcohol. Taste is slightly sweet, tiny bitter, very tiny sour, malty, fruity and slightly spicy. Mouthfeel is soft, round, only oily, very tiny tart and medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet, tiny bitter and tiny sour with cacao and clove sprinkled grilled banana with caramel sauce. Delicious weizenbock that feels very true to style. Flaska från SB. Disig orangefärgad västska med relativt högt skum. Stor oh söt doft av ananas, passionsfrukt och persika precis som etiketten skvallrar om. Smaken är relativt söt, fruktig med tydlig grape/resinbeska. Bra kropp, inte mycket karamell utan vetemjukhet med liten syrlighet och fruktigt smågodis. Helt klart trevlig och ganska typisk för en modern IPA 2016.
