Bottle. A dense, finger-thick, tan head sits on top of a black body. Not pitch black maybe, but sure dark. Roasted, lighlty sweetish nose with some tar and dark caramel. A fine bitterness in the flavor, along with roasted malts, coffee hints, caramel and some chocolate. Full body, pleasant carbonation. Lasting finish with some bitterness, but mostly roasted malts, choclate and some tar. Nice. 120622

(Bottle) Red brown with very slight head. Aroma of toffee / malt with hint of tobacco. Medium body and medium carbonation. Flavour is unpleasant - slightly sweet, slightly vegetable with hints of tobacco and a watery finish with slight but harsh metallic bitterness. Overall, disappointing.
