Lazy Magnolia is Mississippi’s oldest packaging brewery, and the first one since prohibition was enacted in 1907. We’ve been offering locally brewed beer to Mississippians since we were founded in September of 2003.

On tap at spacebar it is a dark brown with a slight head. The aroma is coffee and the taste is strong coffee with a bitter after taste that morphs into black licorice

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Tom L. Hazy orange-amber. Aroma of malt, a bit of rye and somewhat stlae hops. Sweetish malty flavor with caramel, a honey note, a spicy rye note, stlae hops and some bitterness in the finish. Medium-bodied.

Very hop forward beer bit the body is a little light. Great citrus on initial aroma. Pours blondish with OK head and lacing. Light bitter finish. Bottle.

Poured from a bottle it is a clear caramel color with a frothy head. The aroma is pineapple with dome citrus and the taste is bitter with some black licorice flavor that lingers on the palate

Wood and pecan nose, caramel accents. Clear amber, thick cream colored sticky head. Overripe orange, lemon zest finish. Very subtle vanilla notes. Medium body, warm. Good intensity, barleywine-like.
