Flesje gekregen bij 40 jarig jubileum. Roodbruin bier met een volle schuimkraag die als een film blijft liggen. Aroma is moutig en iets rokerig. De smaak is caramel achtig / dropachtig. Nasmaak is eveneens dropachtig .

Flesje gekregen van Jan bij jubileum. Oranje geel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag die als een film blijft liggen. Het heeft een moutige citrus geur. De smaak is zoet, fruitig en kruidig. De nasmaak is zoet en licht hoppig. Het blijft plakkerig aan de lippen.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een pikzwart bier met een volle bruinige schuimkraag. Het aroma van gebrande mout, drop en iets fruitigs. De smaak is vol, gebrande mout, drop, zoethout, kruidig en warm in de afdronk.

Bottle shared at tasting. Darker red-brown color, small off-white to beige head. Aroma and flavor are malts, caramel, boozy a bit, hmm not too good. Drinkable but nah.

Bottle at BBT dec/2021. Batch 001. Med-thin body, med-high carbonation. Aroma promises loads of dried fruits, cherry, dark fruits, but these promises are not fulfilled in taste. Feels very dry, with assertive roasted malt character, burnt, ashy, also medium roasted grainy astringency. Med-light cocoa. Little else going on, light cherry fruitiness, but mostly centered on the roasted malt. Hard to drink. Good but not great.

Bottle from TomHendriksen as part of Local swap in july 2020, many thanks man. Shared at BBT December 2021. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, nuts. Taste is coffe, da k chocolate, burned coffee, bit harsh. Still enjoyable.

Bottle at BBT 12/2021. Malty aroma and taste, roastyness, light coffee, medium to high bitter. Medium to full body, malty bitter finish. Ok.

Bottle at BBT dec/2021. Medium body, feels even fuller due to typical trippely yeast character. Medium carbonation, could use more bubbles. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Med-light phenolic spiciness and flavour, moderate apples, med-light caramel malt. Pretty classic tripel, I do not like them very much, but it is good, so good points.
