Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear pale yellow with a white and lacing head. Discreetly perfumy hops in the nose. Watery body, not much maltiness but lovely perfumy hops that don’t really leave much bitterness though. Still a very nice Low Alcohol. 090410

(bottle) Chrystal clear, dark brown colour with a thick but not very persistent tanned foamy head. Sweet and sourish wheaty aroma with banana, bubblegum, a tinge of caramel and a very shy note of smoke-malt. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft, if not flat carbonation. Dark malty, slightly wheaty and moderately fruity taste ; sweet cara-malty and a bit sticky finish with faint notes of smoke. Rather disappointing Kristall-Rauchweizen-Märzenbock. 31.XII.07

(bottle) Clear, bright amber colour with a big and slightly tanned foamy head. Sweet malty aroma with a tinge of cara-malt, subtle fruity notes of apricots and citrus and a moderately herbal, slightly woody hoppy touch. Sweet flavour with a shy level of bitterness, light to medium bodied with a rather strong carbonation for being “ungespundet”. Slightly fruity (cara-)malty taste with a soft herbal and slightly woody hops character in the background. Malt-accented, sweet and delicately bitter finish. Not a great nor a true Kellerbier, but all in all an easy going brew, pleasant to drink (16.III.09).
