(bottle) Quite hazy for a Kristallweizen, pale golden colour with a blond and huge foamy head. Citric wheaty and slightly mouldy nose. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a slightly fizzy carbonation. Slick wheat character with fruity notes of banana and citrus, accompanied by lightly clovy spices; sweet banana fruity finish. Seems as if my sample has started another fermentation after bottling; drinkable. 05.II.13

(bottle, 50cl, as Das Grosse Pils) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond and loose foamy head. Mildly grainy malty aroma with notes of spicy herbal hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with an almost crisp carbonation. Shy grainy malty and delicately chalky taste with a present but als slightly rough herbal hoppy bite; dry and moderately bitter hoppy finish with herbal and slightly grassy accents. Not perfectly balanced but surely drinkable though. 11.XII.12
