Strange: front label says "Helles Starkbier", but the beer in the glass is brown. Small head. Starts strong-malty, modest sweet, some fruity hints. Finish less malty, some alcoholic notes. Could be more intense and maybe a bit sweeter!

Bottle looks interesting. Beer in the glass dark but not black. Aroma malty-dry. Starts the same - malty and dry, then more and more fruity like plums. Finish less dry, the beer could be more intense in the end. All in all quite drinkable and okay!

The beer cloudy with rapidly dwindling yellow foam. The taste is disappointing, though the yeasty banana wafer is sweet in the finish is in the overall picture but unspectacular. Lower average

The beer in the glass is bright, a bit too bright, I think. The taste is medium dry, leaving the unbalanced somehow. The drinkability is kept within limits. An average beer!

Hazy dark blond color. Honey aroma. Correct body, with a reasonably good malt flavor, a touch of honey, but unfortunately a light metallic finish too. Pleasant.

Dark amber color; creamy head. Bad smell of milky puke, rancid kitchen. Correct body strength, caramel flavor, nutty; correct bitterness; and then rancid butter. One of the worst beers of the year. You gotta be kidding!
