Thanks to Ulf for sending this for me! Deep golden color, small white head. Malty, papery aroma. Medium-bodied. Malty, sweetish flavor without typical industrial off-flavors. Light hoppyness. Clean. Quite similar to some Finnish lagers. My first beer from Okkara.

Can, at Ølfestival 2011. A clear, amber beer with a small, light beige head. Sweetish aroma with some pale malts, fresh and dried fruits. Malty sweetness in the flavor, with fruityness and some caramel. Decent bitterness showing up towards the end. Medium body, dryish. A quite decent traditional Danish style Christmas beer. Rating: 5-4-5-3-11-2.8. 110527

Can. A clear, dark amber beer with a small, beige head. It’s lighlty spiced on the nose, with dried fruits and an almost oxidised touch. Some sweetness in the mouth, but quite dry, a bit hard on carbonation, medium to full body. Caramel and dried fruits flavor, with some bitterness chiming in after a while. A quite decent, Christmasy beer. 110820

Can, at Ølfestival 2011. It pours a clear, dark amber body and a small, off-white head. Roasted and grainy aroma with coffee and something tending towards butterscotch. Some caramel notes on the palate, quite malty, with a fruity and grassy touch. Pleasant bitterness. Dry and medium bodied finishing mostly caramel-like. A rather ordinary beer that drinks nice. Rating: 5-4-5-4-11-2.9. 110527
