500 ml bottle @ John Bull pub in Aalborg. Slightly hazy golden with an OK off-white head. Mild aroma of caramel and cooked vegetables. Flavor is light malty, butterscotch, hint of oranges and apples, not much bitter. Medium to thin body. Not very interesting beer and not to balanced.

500 ml bottle, as Nibe Styrbord Dark Ale, from SuperBest Hjørring. ABV is 5.5%. Black colour, large to moderate tan head. Moderately roasty aroma, notes of chocolate / cocoa and mild coffee, hints of smoke and a touch of fruity hops. The flavour is also moderately roasty, notes of dark chocolate but not too sweet, also notes of mild coffee, hints of liquorice and smoke, some fruity and resinous hops throughout, roasty and hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite enjoyable.

Bottle. Very dark brown with small beige head. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, little sweet, little liquorice and a little bitter.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter ok caramellic flavor. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.

Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2011. Clear amber, no head. Sweet, sticy and caramelly with hard malt. Syrup and caramel. Sugary and syrupy. Dull and edgy.
