Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear amber with a creamy, off-white head. Malty nose, perhaps a hint of honey sweetness. Medium body, sweet maltiness and next to no bitterness. Absolutely no trace of any whisky. Carbonation to the high side. Totally inoffensive. 130423

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, deep brown with a reddish hue and a roughish, beige head. Bamberg smoke dominates the nose. Medium body, lightly sweet roast with a slight tartness and again a light Bamberg smoke note. Nothing really showing from the prunes or the licorice. Underwhelming. 300123
