Tap at source. Slightly darker brown on pale. No hint of the beautiful purple as stated in the description. Very friendly candy like nose. Considering the name, was expecting a good level of sourness but its barely tart on the first taste. Oh, now I see its a berliner, so yes it is more on style for that. You can feel the alky in this. Decent co2. Departs quite a bit from the typical refreshing berliners I'm familiar with. But overall, its not too bad of a brew, enjoyed it.

tap at source. Slight brown on pale. Very thin head. Neutral nose, not much aroma at all, perhaps a tad sweet. First taste is a little more boozy tasting than the real euro tripels. Very fine carbonation level. Yea, good stuff but needs a few manners. Slight warming sensation on the finish.

Tap at source. Quite dark. Perhaps some fruit in the nose. First taste, is rather boozy and fairly flat. Think about plums soaked in whiskey. Sweeter near cloying middle. Good balance of fruit in the barrel aged brew. Does not hide alky well. but I guess that's why its called a strong ale, heheh.

Tap at source. Cloudy light pale with a very thin head. Slight tart nose. Very little co2, needs more. Smooth and easy on the uptake. Middle meets some slight bitterness. Overall good friendly brew!
