Clear golden. Tall fluffy head. Good retention. Grainy aroma with a note of cardboard. Light to medium body. Sweet malty taste. A winy note. Relatively low bitterness. A strange Pils. Grassy & citric hoppiness is not the case with this one.

Big offwhite head. Clear yellow body with strong carbonation. Fruity mealy sugary aroma with floral paper notes. Sweetish honey and flowers taste with mealy spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish mealy floral fruity aftertaste with spicy notes. Nothing wrong with this. Nice, straightforward lager. (0.5l can, Vinbudin Kringlan, Reykjavik. My notes give ABV as 5.1%.)

Huge beige head. Opaque black body goes clear brown at edge. Soy sauce and caramel aroma with mineraly licorice notes. Sweetish roasty licorice taste with caramelly notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, fizzy mouthfeel. Dryish mineraly wooden aftertaste with vegetable and licorice notes. Hints of butter, but no more. It’s an OK beer, but nothing I’d buy again. (0.5l can, from Vinbudin Kringlan.)
