Bottle in NYC. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. Dank-like straw nose, some cereal, light grain. Mild sweet flavor, some sugar, cereal, faint metal. Light bodied with average carbonation. Crisp finish, notes of hay, straw, grains. Slightly cheap-tasting but alright.

Pours clear gold into a shaker. Bright white head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Sour bread and skunk aromas. Soft with sweet cookie dough and toast. Lasting slightly skunked finish.

33cl bottle. Pours golden-orange colour with not much head. The nose has notes of fine malts with just a hint of caramel, but no more than a hint. The taste has very pronouced hops from the beginning to the end - there seems to be notes of lemon intermingling notes of malt and caramel. The palate is unusual for a lager - there’s more texture and structure but not so much refreshment. Overall, I like it, though it’s not what I expected!

33cl bottle. Pours a clear golden colour with a decent head some of which hangs around. The nose has some sweetcorn, some pale malt and some citrus. The taste has a crisp citrus note against a background of pale malt. The palate has a light to medium texture and structure and it’s very clean and zingy on the end. Overall, a nice crisp lager.

11.2oz bottle. Filtered, pale orange-yellow. Thin non-head, lots of CO2 bubbles. Doughy, sweet aroma, very Euro-macro. Light bodied, straightforward. Not as clean as crisp as the style should be, some sweet, fruity, boozy tones underneath. Drinkable, if you paid 41 cents and it was the only store selling beer in Germany. Seems like a bullshit cheap recipe they send abroad. Factory swill for the most part, but at least it’s German factory swill.

11.2oz bottle. Filtered, pale, orange-tan color. No real head to speak of. A really cheap, thin, boring Oktoberfest. Think stale stateside Lowenbrau. Medium bodied, some slight pungent yeast tones, mellow peppery hop balance Drinkable at time, but still has a skunky, metallic, factory thing goin on. Unimpressive.

Weich herber Antrunk.

Bottle. Pale gold body. Fizzy, white head, rapidly diminishing. First whiff yields a slight sulphurous smell. The rest of the aroma is grassy, vegetative and grainy. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. While this pilsener is crisp and fairly clean, it is too sweet. The slight corn taste and slight graininess are less than appealing.

Yez, I was lucky enough to get a bottle of this from house of 1000 beers. You know, the slight aroma of skunk in some beers is not all that bad! Big and small CO2 in the pale lager show, filtered fer sure. Yeah, rather strong for lager and some of that piercing aroma carries thru to the taste. Metallic aroma follows with a wierd sensation of sterile palate. Fienwerzig baby! Mit mildren hofnaharoma. Du Haust, were living in amerika! One of the more mild fest beers I’ve had and I’m liking that. Jeet yet?
