33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a diminished white head. Mild popcorn aroma with a light malt base. Light cornish and mild malty flavoured. Nice crisp flavour of hops and light malt base. Light bitter and crisp finish.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Tastes very spicy, strong, modest sourish finish. Very drinkable and good beer!

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Flavor in the beginning very dry, very hoppy. In the end it turns spicy, like wheat. Balanced finish. Drinkable and good beer.

Bottle, 4.9%. Pale yellow colour, small white head. Low maltiness and low bitterness. Clean but boring.

Test vom 1.12.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,7,7,2,11,7 - 6,75

(Bottle 33 cl) Almost pitch black with a lightly creamy, cappuchino-like head. Dark and full-bodied with weak hints of roasted coffee. Some underlying sweetness. A nice brew. 230800

(Bottle 33 cl) Golden pilsener with a fine, dense head. Fresh, malty with the hops leaving a lot of aroma and an adequate bitterness. A perfectly balanced beer. 090500

A light orange beer with a nice bubbly white head. The aroma is quite hoppy, but very simple. The flavor is sweet matly with lots of hops giving it a slightly bitter and dry finish, but the body is watery.

A brown beer with a huge brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of licorice, prunes, caramel, and roasted malt. The roated malty, with notes of plastic and burnt caramel, leading to a quite dry end. Nice beer except for the plastic notes in the flavor.

Opaque black; brownish & fluffy head, leaving lace. Chalk, liquorice, some dark malts in the nose. Light sourish-tart, porter-like burnt/roasted malts taste. All faint, but rather nice, subtle as Phillippe says. Wood-framed dark malts. Thin bodied, which is acceptable, but a tad fizzy. Low acidburn. Adequate Schwarz. This is a beer that asks for accompaniment: Pumpernickel, black pudding or Mettwurst, and a g’selliges Stubl. Good one, Jacob & Martin.
