Courtesy of bierkoning, ty Edo! Clear amber color, small off-white head. Toasted toffeish and cardboardish aroma. Caramelly malty, papery flavor - very typical altbier. Some hops in the aftertaste.

Bottle: Amber to light amber coloured, fluffy, slowly diminishing, off-white head; malty nose, cardboard, a bit sourish, a touch of molasses; light bitter-sweet malty flavour; faint, short bitter finish. Drinkable, but far below the Düsseldorf micros.......................

(bottle) Pale straw colour with a medium foamy white head with bubbles. Grassy hoppy nose with a grainy malty background. Bitter flavour, light to medium body; slight sweet malty taste that turns quickly into a moderate bitterness; dry and even lasting finish. Really not bad.

(bottle) Clear amber colour with a big foamy off-white head. Sweet malty aroma with cooked carrots and shy hints of herbal hops. A gruesome example of an unbalanced malt-hop ratio and unpleasant sharp carbonation. Great looking but absolutely unsatisfying brew.

Bottle:Golden coloured, thin firm foamy layer; bready, only slightly hoppy nose, some traces of cardboard, soft, sweetish malty taste; long lasting bitter aftertaste; not so unpleasant, but the mistake of all hop-extract beers is the lack of aromatic hoppiness; could be an Export.............
