(Bottle 33 cl) Nice flowery nose from the hops. Pretty fully golden colour and a very small, creamy head.. Very light body - if not to say watery. The hops have probably evaporated as there’s absolutely no trace of them in the aroma. Very easy to drink but pretty much characterless. I guess Iceland has very little barley malt, no hops but plenty of water. I fear that will be reflected in the country’s beer culture... 150505

Blond color. Boring aroma of mass Lager; and it is boring… Unexpected, it’s quite bitter.

A yellow beer with a disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy. The flavor is lovely hoppy. The hops makes this beer OK.

A fairly straight forward beer. Not much aroma with slight taste of hops and sourness. An okay beer.

Bottled. Pale amber, average head. Toffee aroma. Sweet and metallic with mellow mouthfeel and just a hint of bitterness.

Reddish brown colour. Caramel and brown sugar on the nose. Sweet but bland palate. The combination of sweetness, lack of body and lack of melanoidins (those compounds that manifest themselves as luscious, rich maltiness) tells me this beer has too many adjuncts. Some sort of unfermentable caramel perhaps? Not unlike a Peruvian schwarzbier in that respect.

Another Icelandic masterwork. Prohibition has left this country with a serious dearth of brewing talent or something. Light straw colour, light malt flavour, faint grass, light body and slightly salty.
