Description
North Retail is a food and beverage concept building company for the Scandinavian retail market. The foundation of the company is market knowledge, category management, an innovative mindset, and a holistic understanding of and experience in developing and bringing food concepts to Scandinavian retailers and consumers.
The retail market is both complex and competitive – at North Retail we focus on creating value for our customers by delivering strong food and beverage concepts with a fast time to market.
The beverage category is a vastly differentiated and trend-based category.
We supply sodas and RTDs in price competitive private label set-ups.
Furthermore, within beer we supply the brand Danevang. Danevang makes organic beers of high quality. All brewed sustainably in Denmark.
All this makes Danevang sound rather expensive. But Danevang is one of the most price-competitive beer brands on the premium beer shelves.

cloudy yellow, white bubbly head
citrus, oranges, flowers in the aroma. very initially lemongrass like notes, leading me to think belgian wit, but then more lime, lemon, oranges than a belgian, making me think more hop driven aroma, also not very yeasty so more french blanche, but not traditional french blance. too much hops, too little crazy yeast. aroma might fit in with industrial belgian blanche beers though, being quite perfumey and artificial.
flavor is refreshing, fruity, slightly soapy, alc. bitterness, weird bitter grainy malty note. Drinkable but clearly industrial.

clear yellow, white head
flowery and sweet fruity aroma, much like a belgian blonde. A bit more clean in the malt and yeast profile than a belgian typically is.flavor is quite well balanced tilting a bit to the sweet - flowery and fruity, with notes from yeast and malts, quite belgian in its expression, the alc. level works very well, it does not feel too strong and the alc. is near totally hidden in the flavor. perhaps there is a bit of extra sweetness like in a south european strong lager, but it's like 7/8 belgian blonde, 1/8 strong european lager. works fine. Clearly one of the better supermarket blonde belgian style beers you can get. so strong it could almost go for a tripel.

Hazy yellow bub ly white head
Flowery refreshing aroma. Not hardcore us ipa more like English ipa watermelon. Green grapes
Flavor is flowery slightly bitter where the bitterness is almost a but yeasty, flowery notes ordering candy, leading me to think of French blonde ales.
A mild ipa European style not american style. Could also be sold as a pale ale imho
At 12dkk for 50cl it is fair valued, on par with other supermarket special beer brands.
