Aroma has cocoa, licorice, coffee and roastiness. Also some syrupy sweetness. Flavour has alcohol, salty licorice, herbal tones and hints of hay. Perhaps a bit too young, but I don’t think this will be my favourite IS even after ageing. The salty licorice is not likely to go away.

Bottle at Pub Winston. Opaque black color, steady beige head. Aroma is toasted and ashy. Somewhat simple with hints of .. maybe alcohol. Full-bodied. Front is sweet, even sticky. Almost liquerish palate. Toasted malts, a bit dark chocolaty flavor. Alcohol kicks in the back. Simplish, clean but needs aging.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, yeasty, fruity and light spicy. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. Fizzy. 170115

Bottle, 4.1%. Hazy dark yellow with medium white head. Aroma is malt, wheat, little corriander and other spices. Flavour is malt, wheat, orange, spcies, medium sweet and a little bitter.

(Keg at Black Door, 20141114) The beer poured amber and cloudy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had creamy toffee, fruitiness and pine. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, creamy toffee, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A very nice tasty hoppy pale ale.

Tap at Pub Winston. Hazy orange color, small white head. Orange marmalade and pine in the nose. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Gooseberry, citrus and grass in the flavor. Not so different than Pikkupomo or Piirimyyjä.

Pours murky orange with a smooth head. Aroma of grassy hops, citrus, pine, caramely malts and fruits. Taste is hoppy, smooth and crisp with notes of pine, citrus and caramel. Finish is hoppy, bitter and fruity with some grass, citrus and floral notes. Quite tasty.

Tap at Olutexpo 2014, Helsinki. Colour is cloudy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Fruits, hops and malts. Looks yeasty, fresh and nice body. I like this one.

Aroma is rather sweet and fruity - and somewhat heavy. Flavour has sweet fruits, peaches, some orange and grapefruit. Finishes with lingering hops, sweet fruits and some distant herbal bitterness. Quite rich for this ABV.
