Bottle 330ml (Vaasa). Hazy yellow colour, small white head, lace. Hayish, grainy, kind of herbal vibe. Light-bodied. Grassy, pale malty, grapefruity bitter flavour. A bit harsh but tolerable.

From backlog. 330ml bottle from K-Supermarket Nilsiä. Pours dark orange with a smooth head. Aroma of grassy hops, pine, caramel and grapefruit. Taste is crisp, earthy and herbal hoppy with some pine, resin and grapefruit. Finish is crisp and bitter with some sweetish maltiness, hints of herbal notes. Okay, surprisingly feels slightly more balanced than the 5,6% version.

Bottle 0.33l at home, Vantaa. Colour cloudy brownish darg orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Caramel, pine, hops and malts. Pretty good.

Smell of roasted malt, some rye bread. Cloudy dark brown colour, brown head. Aroma of hops, spruce, finishes with a rye bitterness and some earth. Very bitter. Lively carbon.

(Keg at Taproom United, 20170808) The beer poured brown and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, cat’s pee and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, spiciness, black currant leaves, caramel and bitterness. Aftertaste had caramel and bitterness. A bit weird hoppy pale ale.
