Bottle from HavnensVin&Tobak. Pours opaque chestnut brown with small white head. Aroma is intense malt, caramle, fudge, syrup, red apples and rye bread (and øllebrød). Taste is medium sweet, light bitter and light acidic. Body is oily with light carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes of malt, syrup, brown sugar, rye bread, biscuits, apples, figs and prunes with hints of cinnamon and iron.
