Description
Hvide Sande Bryghus was established in 2018 in a former fish warehouse at the port of Hvide Sande. The brewery was started by director and brewmaster Niels Sangill, who was born and raised in the town.
After owning and operating Geddal Gaardbryggeri northwest of Holstebro since 2014, he has now started a new, larger, brewery adventure in the old fishing village of Hvide Sande.
At Hvide Sande Bryghus we brew specialty beers according to our own recipes and bottle the beer ourselves at our own bottling plant. We have a fixed selection of about 8 different types, in addition we have various seasonal beers and specialty brews for larger customers
We regularly arrange tours of the brewhouse and bottling plant including beer tasting.
During the high season there are tours at fixed times, and otherwise upon request from groups.

50 cL bottle. Pours cloudy orange to yellow, white head. Aroma is mild herbal to soapy. Soapy, floral. Perfumed. Bitter, slight herbal. Perfumed finish.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of caramel and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange, white head. Aroma is toasted malt, grassy. Sweet, caramelish. Toasted malty. Bitter and toasted finish.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Hazy golden, rich lively head. Grapefruit aroma. Dry with light body and clean, spritzy mouthfeel. Fruity with fragile malt, grapefruity hops. Mid bitter finish.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Almost clear deep golden, rich firm head. Fruity nose with some bread. Mid sweet with ligyt body and clean, somewhat oily mouthfeel. Apples and dough. Fairly low bitterness.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 13.07.2022) im 2021-07 getrunken. Dieses braune Bock kommt sowahl in der nase als auch am Gaumen mit einerschönen Malzigkeit daher. Ein solides und süffiges Bier für den Abend - Skål!

Aus der Flasche (bbe 01.07.2022) im 2021-06 getrunken. Diese bronzefarbener Ale kommt süsslich, hopfig mit einem Hauch von einer Citrusnote daher. Irgendwie passen die Aromen nicht zueinander und damit ist das kein Bier was ich nochmal im Glas haben möchte.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost opaque black with only a vague tint of orange and a small, beige head. Roasty nose with a vague, peaty hint. Medium body, roast and chocolate, again vaguely peaty with no real bitterness. A decently drinkable Porter if a little vague considering the 6.5%. 120621
