Description
Hvide Sande Bryghus was established in 2018 in a former fish warehouse at the port of Hvide Sande. The brewery was started by director and brewmaster Niels Sangill, who was born and raised in the town.
After owning and operating Geddal Gaardbryggeri northwest of Holstebro since 2014, he has now started a new, larger, brewery adventure in the old fishing village of Hvide Sande.
At Hvide Sande Bryghus we brew specialty beers according to our own recipes and bottle the beer ourselves at our own bottling plant. We have a fixed selection of about 8 different types, in addition we have various seasonal beers and specialty brews for larger customers
We regularly arrange tours of the brewhouse and bottling plant including beer tasting.
During the high season there are tours at fixed times, and otherwise upon request from groups.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, nutty brown wth an off-white head. Sweet, toffee and nuts in the nose - biscuity. Medium body, clean malts to the slightly sweet side, again nutty with burned caramel and toffee and a slight roastiness. Subtle but sufficient bitterness. Best beer from Hvide Sande for ages - and clean! 190820

Bottle 50 cl. Pours amber with a slight haze and a neat and lacing off-white head with good retention. Oh dear, massive diacetyl in the nose - a total butter feast. Medium body, sweet maltiness with a licorice touch but the diacetyl notes are so overpowering. Getting somewhat prfumy towards the finish. 170820

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a creamy, white head. Swet malty nose with a hint of flowery hops, but with an even bigger hint of sticky diacetyl. Medium body, very sweet and almost cloying - and again with thick diacetyl. Close to no bitterness. 230720
