Description
Hvide Sande Bryghus was established in 2018 in a former fish warehouse at the port of Hvide Sande. The brewery was started by director and brewmaster Niels Sangill, who was born and raised in the town.
After owning and operating Geddal Gaardbryggeri northwest of Holstebro since 2014, he has now started a new, larger, brewery adventure in the old fishing village of Hvide Sande.
At Hvide Sande Bryghus we brew specialty beers according to our own recipes and bottle the beer ourselves at our own bottling plant. We have a fixed selection of about 8 different types, in addition we have various seasonal beers and specialty brews for larger customers
We regularly arrange tours of the brewhouse and bottling plant including beer tasting.
During the high season there are tours at fixed times, and otherwise upon request from groups.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, dark reddish brown with a neat and lacing beige head. Dry and nutty aroma, a little toffee. Medium body, rich carbonation, nutty, dried fruits, rock sugar - only not sweet. Vague tartness. Best Hvide Sande beer for a long hvile. 220620

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a lacing, white head. Close to no aroma - but at least this one doesn't tate unpleasant. Medium body, slightly tart apple notes a hint of bittering hops and then absolutely nothing. But again, at least this one is not offensive. 100620

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy, deep golden with a small, off-white head. Some subtle citrusy hops blending in with massive diacetyl in the nose. Medium body, lowish carbonation, malty /worty, slightly fruity and again this feeling of being unfinish, unattenuated. Close to no bitterness. Both flawed and incredibly sloppy craaftmanship. 100620

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, deep golden with an off-white head. Very little aroma, slightly malty or even worty perhaps. Medium body, lowish carbonation, seems malty, unattenuated, unfinished simply. A slight fruitiness from some aroma hops. Sloppy. 100620

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear but somewhat nasty, grayish golden with a white head. Nose is mostly rotten vegetables. Medium body, extremely sweet malt but also a feeling of rottening sweet fruit with some perfumy hops on top. A little bitterness towards the end. Not sure what happened here. BB 23.04.21. 100620
