Description
Bullhouse was initially founded back in 2016 to bring to market styles of beer not commonly available in Northern Ireland. To that end, the first beers we brewed were an Imperial Stout and a Comber Potato Saison.

We work to the following four values which determine the beers we brew, our responsibility to our local community and to the local environment.

With environmental sustainability at our core, we pride ourselves on using local suppliers where possible for our raw materials. All our base malts are grown on the island of Ireland. Unfortunately we don't have the climate to grow hops in Belfast, but we contract the freshest hops from around the world to ensure our hoppy beers are as flavourful as possible.

We naturally carbonate our beers using the CO2 produced during fermentation and have eliminated tank to tank transfers, further reducing our environmental impact.

440ml can. Amber coloured with a light haze, thin off-white head. Aroma of pine, resin, malts, dank. Taste is malty, caramel, pine, very resinous, dank, marmalade, bitter orange/grapefruit finish that lingers.

Can at Bogan's Bar in Omagh, three months past its sell by date. Cloudy yellow color, white head, solid lacing. Aroma is mostly earthy citrus with a bit of pineapple. Taste is lightly bitter mixed citrus. OK. Would try it fresh.

Can. Clearish yellow color, large fluffy white head with good retention. Big aroma of raw rye bread and flowers. Taste has lots of spice as well as bready lemon. Tasty stuff

Can at home, 23rd October 22. Watching a big thunder storm on a Sunday, pork belly in the oven. Oddly I bought this on line, but also saw it on sale in Milan this week. Pours a copper colour. Aroma is caramel, pine resin. Taste is caramel and a bitter malty, pine, dank yes, pretty decent hoot west coaster, well balanced

Panda 🐼 at home thanks to Colin. A light hazed deep orange coloured pour with a loose off white head. Aroma is semi sweet, little TCP, medicinal hop, creamy wheat, orange zest. Flavour si composed of semi sweet, earthy grains, wheat, apricot, orange, jammy citrus, pear, light medicinal note. Palate is semi sweet, creamy, rounded, mellow carbonation.

Can at home, from an online peddler, 06/10/22. Hazed orange to golden with a good sized lasting just off white head. Nose is orange pith, grass, ripe melon, airy malts, light minerality. Taste comprises bitter orange, light pine nip, grass, grapefruit, mixed tropicana, papaya. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with balanced juicy to lightly grassy hop bitterness. Respectable enough IPA.
