Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Cloudy orange colour, rich, firm head. Phenolic nose with gooseberry juice. Sweet with a light tartness, medium bodied with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Tart and fruity with some bread and lots of gooseberry juice. Low bitterness.

Tonkka at Olutsatama. Murky brown colour, not much head. Lots of juniper, wood, hops in the nose. Full-bodied. Very hoppy front, some sweet banana, wood and juniper. Dry and hoppy. Not so traditional way to but good.

Smell of hops. Muddy light brown colour, white had. Aroma of hops, yeast, grass, earth. Bitter. Dry palate, flat carbon. Somewhat viscous texture. Messy flavours, yeastiness dominates. Not convincing.

Aroma has sweet toffee tones, caramel and toasted sugar. Flavour has chocolate, minerals. Rather dry stuff – even too dry. Unfortunately the finish has somewhat unpleasant vegetable and ashy tones along with the moderate hoppiness. Drinkable stuff anyway.

Tasted at TCBF 2018. Smell of yeast, dough, bread. Mud colour, no head. Aroma of yeast, juniper, grain, dough, some sugar in finish. Extremely flat carbon. Very viscous texture. Very sweet. A good sahti that could have a bit more sourness/bitterness. Now leaning a bit too much towards weizenbock.

Ugly looking beer, a murky, yellow-brown colour, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has quite freshly fruitness, mango-pineapple. Taste is slightly messy, fruitness, grass, nicely strong bitterness. Medium bodied. Too messy, purer flavours should be achieved, decent.
