Tierra de Perros - Cervezas Guaberze Productores: Fran Martín y Juan Fernando Sánchez "Islas Canarias" viene del latín Canis Area, (Tierra de Perros), debido a los grandes perros que se encontraron los primeros exploradores que visitaron la isla de Gran Canaria. Somos un pequeño grupo de amigos innovadores que hemos querido realizar nuestro sueño como fabricantes de cerveza. Nuestra microcervecería se denomina Cervezas Guaberze y nuestra marca de cerveza es Tierra de Perros, elaboramos la primera cerveza artesanal embotellada de Tenerife, que a su vez es la primera cerveza ecológica elaborada en Canarias y una de las pocas a nivel nacional.

Bottled (thanks to my parents). Hazy golden colour, gusher warning. Aroma is fruity, some mirabelles, pear and mild wooden notes. Flavour is mirabelles, some honey, nutty and mild fruity tones. No bitterness, but refreshing, even though the carbonation bites the tongue quite hard.

Bottle@PBF XII 2018 (thanks to my parents). Deep coppery brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is nutty, some toffee, sourish wood and mild liquorice. Flavour is liquorice, roast, some nutty and mild wooden tones. Sourness lurking too, making it quite unpleasant. 4 4 3 2 7

Bottle (thanks also to my parents, rerate in December 2023). Pitch black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquorice, roasted malts, some wooden and mild ashy tones to it. Flavour is roasted malts, liquorice, some chocolate and marzipan with mild syrupy tones. 7 4 7 3 14.

Bottled (thanks to my parents). Deep amber colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is creamy, some floral, mild toffeeish and wooden notes. Flavour is raisins, some toffee, mild creamy notes as well as some slight bitter.

Bottled (thanks to my parents). Honeysh golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, caramel malts, toffee and some slight herbal edge to it. Flavour is herbal, some toffee and mild tart floral and berryish notes with quite lactoselike fudge in the finish. Aftertaste is like berries and fudge.

Bottled (thanks to my parents!). Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, fruity and some slight tofee and yeast to it. Flavour is fruity, yeasty, mild spices as well as some wheat.

330mml. bottle. @La Brava, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain). 12/01/2020. [#3.205 Global - #500 Spain - #1 Tierra de Perros (My spanish brewery #162)] Pale golden coloour with a medium white head. Aroma is spiced malts, coriander and clove. Taste is also extremely spiced for my taste leading to a looong coriander finish. Next one please!

Amber colour, medium-sized off-white head. Light sweet berryish aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Light wild strawberry sweetness, some earthy hops. A bit messy and sweetish pale ale although not a total disaster.

Hazy orange-amber colour, small white head. Milky overriped fruit aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Harsh citrusy flavour with some light mango. Unbalanced.

Hazy orange-amber, small white head and lace. Herbal & spicey aroma with some sweetish maltyness. Light to medium-bodied. Sweetish pale malts, herbs in the flavour. Not a big fan of herb beers.
